Katie Caron (b. 1978, American)

Katie Caron was born in Manchester, Connecticut in 1978. She received a BS degree in English education, with a minor in theater arts, from Boston University in 2000, and her MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan in 2009. Caron moved to Denver in 2003, where she was a member of Spark Gallery and Sandra Phillips Gallery until 2009. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Fine Arts and Art Education at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, specializing in ceramics and sculpture, and is a resident artist of RedLine in Denver. Her work has been shown nationally and locally, notably at the Denver Art Museum and the Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University, Orange, California.
