Van Briggle Pottery, established in 1899 in Colorado Springs, is one of the oldest active art potteries in the United States. The artistic tradition begun by Artus and Anne Van Briggle over 100 years ago continues to be manufactured today by the Stevenson family and their gifted artisans who perpetuate and reinterpret the
classic Van Briggle style.
Contemporary works produced by the company remain true to the original artistic principals set forth by Artus Van Briggle. The pieces are simple in form and the design and colors are drawn from nature in their graceful appearance, flowing organic lines, floral motifs and the occasional inclusion of human or animal form.
Many designs available. Please call to find out about our current inventory and pricing. 303-832-8576 ext. 200 or email kboldry@kirklandmuseum.org
