Free admission for Kirkland Museum members
Kirkland Museum joins 2000+ museums nationwide to offer free admission to active-duty military personnel with ID and their families (children age 13 and up), including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Children 13 and Older Welcome
Due to the fragile nature of the collections and the popular but vulnerable salon style in which they are displayed, Kirkland Museum limits all visitors during open hours and events to those age 13 and up. Children between the ages of 13 and 17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.
Every Tuesday, Thursday at noon and first Sunday of each month at 1pm
Free, 30-minute welcome tours provide an introduction to the museum’s history, layout and collections. Space is limited to 15 visitors and cannot be reserved in advance. Tours subject to Docent availability, please call ahead to confirm.

Kirkland Museum is ADA Accessible
Two wheelchairs and one four-wheel walker are available to borrow on a first come, first served basis. Ask at the Welcome Desk.
Paid parking is available in the lot behind the museum, accessible from the alley between Bannock and Cherokee. The lot is not restricted to museum visitors and spots are first come, first serve. Museum patrons receive a discount with validated ticket.
- Kirkland Museum visitors: $5.00 for two hours with validation; $8.00 for longer than two hours
- Daytime rate without validation: $6.00 per hour, $12.00 max
- Evening rate: $4.00
- On weekends with events in the Golden Triangle, special event parking rates may apply to non-museum patrons
