M.C. DeBoer is a native of Colorado. After completing studies at the University of Denver, DeBoer received her MFA from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. She studied under Pinto, himself a student of the great Mexican muralist, David Alfaro Siquerios. DeBoer is a painter, tapestry designer, printmaker and writer in Denver. Her work is surreal and imaginative, often incorporating scientific principles or influences from world cultures.
