Artist Ania Gola-Kumor (b. 1956, Polish-American)

Ania Gola-Kumor was born in Poland in 1956. She was influenced by the Polish Colorists and studied at the College of Art and Industry in Moscow, followed by earning her MFA in 1980 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw where she concentrated in painting, interior design and exhibition design. She moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 1982, and still resides on the Front Range. Her paintings, which include watercolors, oil pastels on paper and oil on canvas works, have been shown in New York, London, New Mexico and Colorado and have been published in Art Space and ARTnews. Gola-Kumor has taught at various art venues and schools in Colorado including Colorado State University and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
