Kirkland Museum is open until 7pm on the third Friday of every month in 2024 for Art After Hours.
Holidays: Closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Please Note: The Denver Art Museum’s Martin and Hamilton buildings are open seven days a week.

Admission

One ticket grants access to Denver Art Museum and the Kirkland. Vanity & Vice: American Art Deco, on view through June 1, 2025, is included with admission.

**Visitors Ages 13 and Up Welcome

Due to the fragile nature of the collections and the popular but vulnerable salon style in which they are displayed, Kirkland Museum limits all visitors during open hours and events to ages 13 and up. Visitors between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome at no charge.

Groups and Tours

Groups of 10 or more may make advance reservations to receive a discounted admission rate. Pre-reserved Private Guided Tours are now available. Please visit our Groups & Tours page to learn more.

Kirkland Museum is ADA Accessible

Two transport wheelchairs and one four-wheel walker are available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask at the Welcome Desk.

Parking

Paid parking is available in the lot behind the Museum, accessible from the alley between Bannock Street and Cherokee Street. The lot is not restricted to Museum visitors. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking will not be validated.

Parking Rates

  • $6 per hour, $12 max
  • Evening rate: $4 from 5pm to 7am next day
