Evenings: Kirkland Museum does not have regular evening hours.
Holidays: Kirkland Museum is closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Museum members are invited to an exhibition preview day on Tuesday, June 20, for Dave Yust—Evidence of Gravity & Other Works.
Admission
Timed tickets are no longer required. Online tickets are available for pre-purchase, and walk-in visitors are welcome.
Free admission for Kirkland Museum members
$12 General admission (ages 13+ only)
$10 Seniors (age 65+), Teachers, Students (ages 13+) and retired military personnel with ID
$1 Explorer Pass admission (up to 5 tickets with valid EBT card
From now until Labor Day, active-duty military personnel with ID and their families (age 13 and up) receive free admission at Kirkland Museum.
Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and 2000 museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. Visitors Ages 13 and Up Welcome
Due to the fragile nature of the collections and the popular but vulnerable salon style in which they are displayed, Kirkland Museum limits all visitors during open hours and events to ages 13 and up. Visitors between the ages of 13 and 17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Groups and Tours
Groups of 10 or more may make advance reservations to receive a discounted admission rate. Pre-reserved Private Guided Tours are now available. Please visit our Groups & Tours page to learn more.
Kirkland Museum is ADA Accessible
Two transport wheelchairs and one four-wheel walker are available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask at the Welcome Desk.

Parking
Paid parking is available in the lot behind the Museum, accessible from the alley between Bannock Street and Cherokee Street. The lot is not restricted to Museum visitors. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum patrons receive a discount with validated ticket.
Parking Rates
- Kirkland Museum visitors: $6 for two hours with validation; $12 for longer than two hours
- Daytime rate without validation: $6 per hour, $12 max
- Evening rate: $4 from 5pm to 7am next day
- On weekends with events in the Golden Triangle, special event parking rates may apply to non-Museum patrons
